“I'm all about embracing colors without fear. If you ever fall out of love with a hue, just grab that paint can and give your walls a fresh look. The only guidelines I follow for my walls are simple: no overly chilly colors. Think cozy muted old blue over a super bright light blue.”

“I got all the candles for the past Christmas season from Lichtblick-Kerzen”

What are your tips for creating cool gallery walls?

“I've been collecting paintings, collages, and photos for my gallery wall for over 10 years. It's all about letting the collection grow naturally, not rushing it. My motto is simple: "everything I love fits into my gallery" I even threw in a newspaper clipping about my husband's favorite band. I like mixing things up with different frames and formats to keep it lively!”

What are the important steps to completely redecorate a room?

“Every six months, I embark on a redecoration journey, much to my husband's dismay. My approach involves a strategic rearrangement of key furniture pieces, like our couch, creating fresh perspectives. Additionally, depending on how I am feeling, I put up various large pictures on a designated wall. Keeps the design game lively!”

A simple, cool decoration piece everyone can craft at home?

“I Always get loads of compliments on my side table. I whipped it up by gluing together an old pizza wood board and some drainpipes. Furthermore, I give it a fresh spray of color regularly, keeping our living room vibes forever fresh!”

How do you choose wallpapers?

“I like picking wallpapers that just feel right for each room. Went for dreamy clouds and birds in the bedroom and chose some fun, colorful fishy wallpaper for the guest toilet because, well, it looked cute! 😄”
